SABA Engineering Plc is a multidisciplinary consulting and contracting firm established in early 1993. The company’s Head Office is located in Akaki, Kality area of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia while it has branch offices in the centre of Addis as well as in other parts of Africa, namely, Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania. The company has proved capability to provide test borings and water well drilling, laboratory testing, road & bridge design, surveying, construction supervision and contract administration, materials testing, solid waste management, , civil and electro-mechanical works construction, Concrete pole production and Quality Assurance and Management Services.

SABA Engineering Plc is a leading consulting firm in Ethiopia in terms of the magnitude of its operations and the staffing levels. The firm is in the process of implementing quality management system based on ISO 9001:2000 and is working towards external certification.



  • Consultancy and design of roads, bridges, buildings, dams, Irrigation schemes and, water supply systems.
